With a degree in microbiology, you can get opportunities in various fields like healthcare organizations, forensic science laboratories, environmental organizations, higher education institutions, food and drink, publicly funded research organizations, pharmaceuticals and many other industries.
In the medicine and healthcare field, your work is usually associated with prevention & treatment of illnesses linked with microbes.
At LPU this is a four-semester program, to enable graduate students to pursue doctoral studies or professional employment, through imparting in-depth knowledge in specific domains of Microbiology along with a three-semester independent research project leading to a dissertation to harness the flair of research.

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the scientific principles and apply these to develop projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
Acquiring the ability to identify, investigate, understand and analyze complex problems pertaining to industries and identify effective solution strategies for implementation.

BAMS – Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicines and Surgeries (BAMS) is an integration of Indian Degree in the medical field B.Sc. (Microbiology) – It is a subject that comprises of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa etc. This course is structured to provide education regarding the properties of microorganism and their impact on the human body.
BAMS is better than B.Sc. microbiology, BAMS is settled in India while B.Sc Microbiology is still developing in India.
